Wicked Witch of Envy
A series of exploring “bad” character tropes. This is also an exploration in what I have viewed as bad within myself. This piece focuses more on envy and jealousy. I feel like there is a lot of demonization of both the feelings of envy and jealousy, when they are total natural human emotions. I think as long as you can have a safe and open dialogue about those emotions—they are emotions that can be addressed and worked past. I don’t believe they are emotions you should shun or make someone feel bad about having.

What a Drama Clown!
Drama, being silly or childish are aspects I explore in this piece. My character is looking at the viewer in a mischievous way. You might view this character in a negative manner, upon further reflection you find more depth that represents this character that might not be entirely bad or could potentially reinforce the bad. It’s all based on perception and the interpretation of these abstracted forms in the backgroun.

Lady of Loveless Soul
This character is an expression of the femme fatale. I have witnessed a certain level of demonization that has been placed onto woman, whether they are deemed dramatic, jealous, crazy or whatever it may be.
